When I first left home for college, I was excited for independence—until I tasted the canteen food. Bland, repititive, and uninspiring. That’s when I got introduced to local spicy chicken pickles. Every meal became an adventure—a dollop of that fiery, tangy pickle transformed even the simplest rice or roti into something unforgettable.

The Move to Canada: A Craving That Couldn’t Be Ignored

Years later, when I moved to Canada, I missed the bold flavors of home. There were no stores where I could buy chicken pickles. I started experimenting, watching countless YouTube tutorials, tweaking recipes, and testing batches in my tiny kitchen. Some were too sour, some too spicy… but finally, after months of trial and error, I nailed it—the perfect balance of heat, tang, and nostalgia.

From My Kitchen to Yours

Friends and family who tried my pickles begged for more. "You should sell this!" they said. And so,  Tushti was born—a small business with a big mission: to bring the authentic, homemade taste of Indian pickles to every food lover’s table.

Every jar is made with the same care and passion as those first experimental batches. No shortcuts, no artificial preservatives—just real ingredients, bold flavors, and a whole lot of love.
